I forgot to add one tough job that I did for five years when going to school. I loaded and dispatched large diesel trucks that hauled coal spray and heavy fuel oil to Carbon county and Idaho. On week ends I would load the trucks and then take the last one out my self. This was before Interstate highways and the driving was much more tedious. During the week I would load and dispatch after my regular job. 6:p.m. to 2:a.m. Then day time on Saturday and Sunday.

I remember that you took me on a semi-truck driving job once when I was little. I don't know what was in the truck but I remember eating lots of bananas and being so impressed that you could drive such a big vehicle without getting stuck!

I am LOVING the updates to your blog! (I never gave up hope!) I am fascinated by the way, by all these jobs....I want some good "juicy" stories from the meat packing one.

I am intrigued at all the places you have lived and jobs you have had. I never knew you were a "aviation coordinator"... you are simply amazing! ... and unlike abbs, I think I could do without the nitty-gritty stories from the meat packing plant...

I feel tired just reading about it. I'm glad we have hard workers to glean jeans from...let's hope some of it rubbed off on us.

You've been busy. Why don't you take a couple of days off?
I have never been paid to pick or pack potatoes, and I grew up in a potatofull state.

JOHNNY CASH LYRICS

"I've Been Everywhere"

I was toting my pack along the long dusty Winnemucca road
When along came a semi with a high canvas covered load
If your goin' to Winnemucca, Mack with me you can ride
And so I climbed into the cab and then I settled down inside
He asked me if I'd seen a road with so much dust and sand
And I said, "Listen! I've traveled every road in this here land!"

I've been everywhere, man
I've been everywhere, man
Crossed the deserts bare, man
I've breathed the mountain air, man
Of travel I've had my share, man
